Instructions
Boil Water: Bring 4 cups of water to a boil in a saucepan or kettle.
Steep Tea Bags: Remove from heat and add the 4 Apple, Vanilla & Cinnamon herbal tea bags to the boiling water. Let them steep for 5-7 minutes, depending on your desired strength.
Sweeten the Tea: While the tea is still hot, stir in the honey or sugar until it dissolves completely. Adjust the sweetness according to your taste.
Cool the Tea: Remove the tea bags and let the tea cool to room temperature. You can speed up the process by placing the tea in the refrigerator for about 15-20 minutes.
Prepare the Fruit: Thinly slice the apple and orange. These will add a lovely fruit flavor to your sangria.
Combine Ingredients: In a large pitcher, combine the cooled tea, 2 cups of cold water, the sliced apple and orange, cinnamon sticks, white wine, and brandy if using.
Chill: Place the pitcher in the refrigerator for at least 2-4 hours to allow the flavors to meld together. For best results, let it chill overnight.
